Viewing Room at IFM



IFM viewing room is an exclusive screening area for filmmakers to showcase their recent projects to prospective clients / partners or exhibit work in progress to agents / buyers at the market.

Designed to provide you that perfect ambience, our screening rooms can accommodate 20 people at a time.

Application Fees:

For Feature Films (above 60 mins) : INR 6,000 (USD 100)

For Short / Documentary Films (under 60 mins) : INR 3,000 (USD 50)



Guidelines / Regulations:


  •   Seats in the viewing room shall be allotted on first come first serve basis.

  •   IFM Viewing room shall be open for films across the globe.

  •   English subtitles is a pre-requisite for films where the original language is not English.

  •   Films of any genre or length are acceptable.

  •   Films that have been completed or are in any stage of post-production can be showcased.

  •   Exhibitors must meet all the technical requirements themselves to screen the movie in the viewing room.

  •   Films seeking funds / world sales or distribution partners / festival entry are preferred.

  •   IFM committee reserves all rights to reject the film if it does not adhere to the guidelines and regulations and / or the submissions are incomplete / in wrong format / past dues date or any other reason specific to the film submitted. The decision of the committee shall be final and binding.

  •   Application fees must be paid at the time of submission. This fees is non-refundable.

  •   Submissions will be considered complete only upon payment of the mandatory application fee.

  •   Films can be screened any number of times on first come first serve basis.

  •   Filmmakers who wish to be present at IFM must register paying the registration fee.

  •   Films interested in Gap financing / Finishing funds must have completed all or a large part of the principal photography, but must not have had a theatrical release.

  •   Project documents submitted may be rendered accessible to third part evaluators and evaluation committee associated with IFM.

  •   None of the materials submitted or fees shall be returned to the applicant.

  •   Applicant understands and agrees that IFM is not responsible for submissions that are lost, stolen or damaged in transit.
